“To make better men, and through them a broader and better agriculture by surrounding our members with influences tending to encourage individual endeavor, resourcefulness, and aggressive effort along lines making for the development of better mental, social, moral, and physical qualities; to promote a wider acquaintance and a broader outlook on the part of agricultural men through fellowship in a national organization that stands for the best social, mental and moral development.”
Alpha Gamma Rho is the fraternity sharing a common bond within a dynamic, global agriculture committed to fostering the highest values and providing each and every brother with superior lifelong personal development and professional success.
It’s a tough world out there, but thousands of AGR members worldwide are there to help you succeed. From secretaries of agriculture, to top management, to presidents of food companies and thousands of farmers and ranchers – AGR alumni are a “who’s who” in worldwide agriculture.
Hello and welcome to AGR Kappa Chapter’s website!
We hope this site gives you insight into the current day-to-day operations of Kappa Chapter and the place we call home. Kappa Chapter is focused on achieving excellence in all aspects of life. Our Recruitment Chairs have been driven to find quality young men that fulfill AGR’s promises and values. Alpha Gamma Rho believes giving back is important and thus work extremely hard to gain leadership positions in all areas on campus, which has been well received by faculty on East Campus. Additionally, we are dedicated to giving back to the community through our philanthropic events, which are held throughout the school year.
We have a great brotherhood program that allows the entire house to come together for various events and produces lifelong relationships.
Being involved in Alpha Gamma Rho is something that brothers take pride in and provides lifelong lessons. It is a great feeling to know that as an AGR brother, you live with the future leaders across all fields of agriculture, and throughout the state. Kappa Chapter believes in the future of Agriculture and the future of rural America!
