Alpha Gamma Rho emphasizes leadership both within the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources and the University as a whole. Brothers have led the largest student organization as President, Co-Chaired the campaign to build a new East Campus Rec Center, shaped student fee budgets, and Co-Chaired the largest single-day community service event in Nebraska. AGR takes great pride in building lifelong leadership skills that will help influence and shape our rural communities after graduation. In the past year, brothers have held the following leadership positions on campus:

Congratulations to Brother Jamison Jensen for being inducted into the Black Masque Chapter of Mortar Board at Ivy Day. Mortar Board is a national honor society recognizing college seniors for distinguished ability and achievement in scholarship, leadership, and service. Jamsion is one of twenty seniors across campus selected for the prestigious honor.
Also, Brothers Derrick Rocker and Scott Sorensen were honored as an outgoing members of Mortar Board, along with House Sweetheart Robin Easterly. Brothers Ross Jensen and John Bader were each one of three Mortar Board Notables in the Sophomore and Freshman classes respectively. AGR was honored to be the only Greek House with multiple Mortar Board Notables.
Brother Roger Wehrbein was chosen to be a Mortar Board Notable for his lifelong contributions to the University, state of Nebraska and his community. Roger currently serves as the President of the Kappa Foundation and leads the fundraising drive to build a new chapter house.
